Overview

Reporting to the QC Laboratory Supervisor, the main purpose of this post is to carry out microbiological testing of DI water, raw materials, bulk and finished products, carry out environmental testing within the business and release product that has passed QC testing. The post holder will also be required to support the QC Analytical Chemist in carrying out physical testing of bulk and finished product as required. This post is laboratory based and requires strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health and Safety Regulations. Record keeping is required into laboratory books, master documentation and onto computer databases; accuracy and attention to detail are therefore paramount to this role at all times.
